Submission Information
Deadline: Abstracts are due by Monday, June 11, 2012. Abstracts may be submitted by email or by mail (see below)
Abstract Format
Please carefully follow criteria below:
- One sided 8.5 x 11 inches page, portrait layout, white background, 1 inch margins
- Times New Roman, size 12 font
- Single line spacing
- Left justification for all - including title, using hard returns only for new paragraphs
- 500 word maximum to include:
- title, author(s)-first name, last name, affiliation, abstract text, presenting author's email address
- If using "Track Changes" feature, be sure to turn this OFF before you send it to us.

All abstracts following the above criteria and submitted by Monday, June 11, 2012 will be part of the Poster Exhibit.
Additionally, these abstracts will be compiled in the Summer Symposium Proceedings Book for distribution in hard copy to registered participants present at the Symposium. After the Symposium, any publishing house or library is welcome to purchase a copy if books are still available.
When emailing abstract:
send as an MS Word attachment with Summer Symposium Abstract in the header to: symposium@psu.edu. Please do not send in PDF format.
