DESCRIPTION OF ACCOMMODATIONS: A special package has been reserved for the 36th Summer Symposium in Molecular Biology, "Metabolism: Disease Models and Model Organisms" at Eastview Terrace Residence Hall for the program’s duration. The 2017 rate is $70.00 per night, per person, single occupancy at Eastview Terrace.

WHAT FORM OF PAYMENT IS ACCEPTED: Acceptable forms of payment are: cash, check (made payable to The Pennsylvania State University), money order, Visa, or MasterCard (the cardholder must present the credit card at the time of check-in). No other forms of payment will be accepted.
EARLY DEPARTURE POLICY: Early Departures: A “Refund Request” form, available at all check-in locations, must be completed at the time of your early departure, and all keys and cards must be returned to complete the check out process. You will be charged for the length of your stay, plus a one-night penalty.
WHAT TIME IS CHECK IN/CHECK OUT: Standard check-in time is 4:00 p.m., for adult conferences. The Pollock Commons desk is staffed 24 hours per day, so you can check-in when you arrive no matter what time of the day it is. University and student staff will assist with check-in and check-out, as well as answer questions and supply information as requested. Standard check-out time is noon for adult conferences. Early arrival or late departure requests must be submitted to Conference Services by the guest.

WHAT COMES IN THE HOUSING PACKAGE: The rooms consist of one single bed, nightstand, desk, and armoire, along with a private bath. A small microwave/refrigerator is provided for your convenience. You should bring your own clothes hangers, alarm clock, and any other personal items you may require. The rate includes a hot breakfast each day of residence, Wednesday - Friday served from 7am until 9am; bed linens, towels, washcloth, and soap. PLEASE NOTE: Smoking, alcohol, and pets are not permitted in the residence halls.
WHAT ABOUT PARKING ON CAMPUS: Parking passes are required to park on campus. Please indicate on the room reservation form you will need a parking pass. Parking passes are $24 for use during the Symposium (or $8 per day) and you will be allowed to park near your housing. Please Do NOT order a parking pass through the symposium registration process.
WHAT ABOUT MEALS:
- Breakfast: The rate includes a hot breakfast each day of residence, Wednesday - Friday.
- Lunch and Dinner: Meals are available in the Pollock Dining Commons at an additional cost.

TRAVELING AROUND CAMPUS: You may easily walk from the on-campus housing location to the Summer Symposium location and downtown State College, or ride the Campus Loop and Link buses free of charge on campus.
